You can set up an event in minutes. After signing up, you can use our Setup Wizard for guided configuration, or customize manually. Choose your colors, fonts, background images, and logos to match your event theme. Set your moderation preferences, enable features like the guest book or private messaging, and configure access controls. Your event is ready to go as soon as you set the status to "Live".
No! Guests simply scan your QR code with their phone's camera app, enter a nickname, and they can immediately start uploading. Everything works through their web browser - no app downloads, no account creation, no friction. This makes it incredibly easy for guests of all ages and technical abilities to participate.
No registration required. Guests only need to enter a nickname (and optionally their email) when they join. This keeps the experience simple and fast, with no barriers to participation. Their session is saved on their device, so they can close their browser and return later without re-entering their information.
Guests can upload both photos and videos (depending on the plan you choose). They can also leave text messages even without uploading media. If you enable the guest book feature, guests can share their mailing address and special messages to the hosts. Yes, every event is private by default. Each event has a unique access code that guests need to join. You can add an additional password for extra security. Events are not searchable or publicly listed - only people with your specific QR code or access code can join. You have full control over who participates and what content is displayed.
Security is our top priority. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Photos are stored in secure cloud storage with enterprise-grade security. Each event is completely isolated - only you and participants you've invited can access content. We never share your photos with third parties or use them for any purpose other than providing the service. You maintain full ownership of all uploaded content.
Limits depend on your plan tier. The Demo/Free tier allows 100 total posts - perfect for testing or very small gatherings. Standard allows 2000 posts (pics, videos). Plus offers unlimited unlimited posts. These limits ensure quality performance for your specific event size. All limits are subject to our fair use policy.
We do not have limits on number of guest that can view your wall. Our system is designed to scale as needed and rest assured, your event will visible to your guests and they will be able to use the service. All limits are subject to our fair use policy. You are also backed by our system availability policy.
Yes! You can upgrade instantly at any time, even during a live event. Upgrades take effect immediately - if you hit your participant limit, upgrade to allow more guests to join right away. All your existing content and settings are preserved. You only pay the difference between your current and new tier. Upgrades ensure your event runs smoothly no matter how popular it becomes.
No! The Demo/Free tier requires no payment information whatsoever. Just sign up with your email, verify your account, and start creating. You can explore the features and see if The Pic Wall is right for your event. Upgrade anytime if you need more capacity or longer storage duration.
AI moderation automatically screens photos, videos, and text for inappropriate content before they appear on your wall. You can choose from three modes: No Moderation (posts appear immediately), Manual Moderation (you approve each post), or AI Moderation (automatic filtering with adjustable sensitivity). Demo accounts include AI text moderation; paid plans add the ability to AI image and video analysis for a fee. This gives you peace of mind that your event stays appropriate for your audience.
The digital guest book allows guests to share their mailing address along with well-wishes and messages. This makes it incredibly easy to collect addresses for thank-you cards after your event. The guest book integrates seamlessly with photo sharing - guests can submit photos, messages, and contact information all in one place. Export all guest book entries to CSV for easy use with your card mailings.
Absolutely! Your plan dictates the level of customization but you have complete control over colors, fonts, backgrounds, and layouts. Upload custom logos and background images, choose from multiple font families, adjust sizes for every text element, and customize the join page, presentation wall, and guest book separately. You can even set different layouts for different parts of your event. Our customization depth sets us apart from other platforms.
Yes! Use the Export tab in your event dashboard to download all photos, videos, and messages in a single ZIP file. All media is saved at its original resolution and quality. The export includes all approved posts, participant information, and guest book entries if enabled. You can export anytime during or after your event.
All photos and videos are stored at their original upload quality. We don't compress or reduce resolution. When you export your content, you receive the exact files your guests uploaded, preserving full quality for printing or professional use. The presentation wall may display optimized versions for performance, but originals are always available for download.
Storage duration depends on your plan. After the plan period, your event is automatically archived and content may be deleted. We recommend exporting your content before your event expires. You can extend storage by upgrading your plan at any time. We will also email you a zip file with all of your content at the end of your event.
